About Me

Audrey’s paintings focus on the conflicts within ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world, and how we meet them. Her paintings of January 6th are about the fury and exhilaration of the mob where impotence feels briefly relieved. Landscapes show the remote areas and rural spaces where the natural world mediates human action, and people bend their wills to meet the rocky ground and clouded skies.

Audrey began painting in her middle years. She completed the Master Artist Program of the Compass Atelier in 2023. She has studied with Steven Assael, Glen Kessler, Jordan Bruns, and Adrienne Wyman, among others. Born and raised in DC, she lives with her family in Montgomery County, Maryland.
